Welcome to leopardpictures.us This website includes pictures of leopards from Africa as well as some leopard models. Snow leopards and black leopards are virtually impossible to photograph in the wild, so they were photographed in captivity.
We were very fortunate to find the leopards in the wild. We were ecstatic to come across a mother and son leopard during a grooming session.

leopards, amur leopards or leopard cubs yet. Hopefully we will catch up

This black panther is a model. I was photographing him in Montana. He is a beautiful leopard. During the photo shoot, he was doing his thing and I was taking pictures of him and all was going really well. Out of the blue he lunged toward me and roared. At that point he was only a few feet away. My legs went rubbery and the trainer scolded him. Like a disciplined puppy, he cowered for a minute and I did an equipment check to ensure I didn't need a clothing change. After we both gained composure, he was back modeling his best side and I was back to taking pictures of him. He may have forgotten the experience by now, but I never will :)
